Janet and I are both blessed and challenged by this ministry.
We are blessed because for the first time in professional ministry, we both feel that we can minister and serve together as a team. We are blessed because Men and Women at the Cross has brought healing and hope to our own souls and marriage. We are blessed because we have found an open and honest community with whom we can be real and authentic. We are blessed because this ministry is changing how we parent our two daughters and how we communicate with each other and with them.
We are challenged by this ministry because it does not allow us to remain stagnant in our faith. We are challenged by this ministry because we are forced to do our own soul work at the cross. We are far from perfect nor do we have it all together. Lastly, we are challenged by this ministry because it constantly reminds us that we must rely on the cross and the gospel for our redemption instead of leaning on our own intellect, organizational abilities, or goodness.
We are on a journey. A journey that is transforming our own lives as well as the lives of other men and women. In Kentucky, we are fostering a community of men and women which chooses to walk in the light and which desires to be transformed (mind, heart, and soul) into the image of Christ.
We are on a journey; Will you join us?
1. Will you join us by praying for us as we serve with The Cross Ministry Group, raise support, and pray for the ministry in Kentucky?
2. Will you be open to receiving newsletters from us telling you about the ministry?
3. Will you join us by financially supporting our family as we work with this ministry? Your financial gift is a tax deductible donation (one time gift or monthly support).
4. Will you provide a scholarship for someone to attend one of the Kentucky Cross Ministry Events? (Men at the Cross or Women at the Cross)?
