Wives and family members really appreciate this opportunity to get a window into what the weekend was about and to meet the people involved. It is also a great time to invite men who might want to come to a future weekend. Location and time to be announced on the weekend.
"R Groups"-Redemption Groups:
The Men at the Cross Retreat is a catalytic experience designed to encourage growth at a deep level of the soul. It is the beginning of a journey. It is not unusual to have a profound experience with God and others and then find it difficult to integrate what one has learned and experienced into daily life. The R Groups are designed to help sustain the growth of the weekend and deepen its impact in our lives. Learning to live as men who embrace the reality of our Brokenness and Belovedness in the context of marriage, family and the world is challenging indeed. We need the support of other likeminded men to make this journey into maturity. Specifically, the maturity that is distinctive to men. You are strongly encouraged to pursue this follow-up work to the weekend. The R Groups are designed to further instruct men in this growth process. There will be a very short teaching, with the bulk of the evening dedicated to actual interaction with each other, pressing into and through barriers to growth and maturity. This will be an extremely encouraging environment where men step into the strength and love that God has designed them to know as men. For the sake of your wives, families and the world and "for the Glory of God in your lifeď you are urged to continue the work of this weekend in the days to come.
Continue the Journey!
